Entertainment in the Dells: Tommy Barlett Show

We watched a 90-minute water and stage show in the Wisconsin Dells: The Tommy Bartlett Show. The girls got some good ice cream and Loralynn enjoyed the clown and stage show. The weather was lovely to be outside while we were in the Dells Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to be comfortable at the Noah's Ark outdoor waterpark. Nevertheless, we had fun there, too, even though we were shivering most of the day. Tana wasn't enjoying the spraying or splashing water. Our little tune was "We laugh, we cry-- we get wet, we get dry!" Loralynn liked the small waterslides when she was able to sit in our laps. I was interested in the "family dryer" that we passed by at the Chula Vista indoor waterpark: insert money, the whole family steps in, and moments later everyone steps out dry. I was curious if it worked well but didn't care to spend the money to find out.

We enjoyed lots of good restaurant food and our Black Hawk Motel with playgrounds and warm indoor and outdoor pools. Our hotel even had large clothes lines to dry towels and bathing suits between swims. The girls loved the atmosphere of the place even though we were all in one small room at night and they gave us two free waterpark passes for our whole family. The location was awesome as we could walk to many restaurants and down the strip of shopping.

Loralynn drew a sweet daddy camel for me in the car.
