Where has the sun gone?

Sunny days seem sparse around Schweinfurt lately. On one of the more recent ones, we drove to the park downtown, played, and had a McDonald’s picnic with our friend Valerie H. who was visiting for a few days. It actually felt like summer finally, but we were soon to find that it wouldn’t last. It’s been raining almost solidly every day since then. And even worse, I got some serious food poisoning from the burger I ate that evening. It took me a full week to recover to normal digestive functioning.
